Ministry Support
At ICC, we believe as followers of Christ, we are called to serve each others. ICC work alongside hope-giving local and global ministries to reach out to the communities. We are blessed that we can leverage our unique non-denominational platform to serve and support in various ways.

Ishinomaki Network Meeting
The Ishinomaki Ministry Network focuses on strengthening the unity of Christians working in Ishinomaki. Once a month, ICC helps organize a meeting that brings together at least one representative of each local Christian group that makes up the Ishinomaki Ministry Network. These representatives include pastors, missionaries, and Christian development and recovery workers. A different organization hosts the meeting each time. This gathering provides a space for all participating representatives to learn about what each group is doing and experiencing, so the groups can pray for each other specifically and can work together more cohesively.

Group Prayer
Prayer is the heartbeat of God. ICC provides a space in which the ministries gather and pray together, lifting each ministry up along with the city of Ishinomaki. Local Ministers, Ministries, Individuals and Congregations are joining in unity to pray for the “Body of Christ” to work together in the spirit of love, harmony and purpose. It is our prayer that this network will pray every hour of every day until Jesus returns.

Corporate Gatherings
Yearly, ICC coordinate city-wide gatherings for the church and community. Two main events are the 3.11 memorial concert and “Minna no Christmas”. Previously, ICC coordinated Ishinomaki Gospel Festivals and was also behind the Ishinomaki Operation Christmas Child initiative in the city.

Community Support
ICC serves the community alongside local churches. We provide resources such as staff, volunteers, and venue to meet the needs of churches and networks.
The ICC building regularly serves as a gathering venue for community events such as the flea market and Hula dance classes. Recently, ICC hosted a gallery workshop for a Christian art exhibition.

Equipping Churches
ICC meets one-on-one with leaders from the different groups periodically throughout the year to understand the various, current needs of each group. This provides ICC with concrete ways to support growth in the ministries. ICC facilitates discipleship training seminars, trauma care program to equip churches and members with practical skills and in-depth biblical knowledge.
